It’s June 6 2024 exactly 80 years after the invasion my generation doesn’t even know or put thought into how much those men sacrificed for them it’s not just gen z though it’s everyone it’s sad what are country is going to those men wouldn’t have fought if they knew 2024 was going to be like this we all need to change not just for them but for the future of the United States of America.

I was watching the 80th Anniversary of D-DAY JUNE 6, and I saw the very young taking part in many remembrances, which goes to show they're not forgetting, & that brought a tear to my eyes

I'm retired, but WWII, Korea and Vietman do not feel so long ago. My Father in Law, my Mother in Law, my Uncle, my wife's Uncles all fought or served in WWII, then 3 of my brothers, and 2 of my brothers in law served in Vietnam or National Guard. I was in my 3rd year of AFROTC in college to become a pilot when the Vietnam War was stopped. There's been 9/11 and two Gulf Wars plus Afganistan. We continuingly need This Prayer to help us face down the maryid of evil forces wanting to destroy our Nation and people. More people need to wake up!

When justice overpowered the injustice

American here, My Great Grandfather served in the navy during the war. He wasn’t drafted he volunteered because he felt like it was his duty to serve his country. The ship he was on was there in the water during D-Day. From what I’ve been told he was never quite the same man after the war for obvious reasons. Although I unfortunately never got to meet him but I can say that he was truly a hero as were all the people who served and fought in the name of freedom during the Second World War. American citizens of today don't understand the sacrifice these men made, they stomp the flag, burn it, and set their own colors to match the rainbow and what an ultimate disrespect that is. They are entitled and uneducated. Most don't even know why there are 50 stars on the flag, or what the 50 stars represent. Most don't even know what country we fought against to gain our independence. Now they stand for their pronouns and whatever senseless gender they stand for that isn't male or female. What a shame it is that legal immigrants appreciate this country more than the people who were born here. To people like me, and I hope there a thousands more like me, that understand that without the sacrifices made in WW2, they wouldn't even have the chance to identify as whatever they want. They can do that if they please, but when they disrespect the flag and the fallen who died to give them those rights is when a person like me is gonna check you in you're non binary jaw. Live as you please but don't tread on the names who gave you the right to do so.
